Ammonium Polyphosphate based FR mainly applies to intumescent coatings.

Applications

• EPFR APP 222 - No surface treatment. Highly recommended for textile coatings.
• EPFR APP 223 – No surface treatment. Highly recommended for epoxy resin (epoxy coating, epoxy potting adhesive, epoxy composite, etc.)
• EPFR APP 222H – No surface treatment. Particle size smaller than APP 224. Highly recommended for intumescent coatings. Also used for thermos setting resins (epoxy, UP, PU, etc.)
• EPFR APP 224 - No surface treatment. Highly recommended for intumescent coatings. Also used for thermos setting resins (epoxy, UP, PU, etc.)
• EPFR APP 231 – Treated with melamine. Highly recommended for plastics and unsaturated polyester.
• EPFR APP 241 – Treated with silane. Highly recommended for solvent based coating for outdoor use, solvent based PU and so on.
• EPFR APP 262 – Encapsulated with melamine formaldehyde. Highly recommended for intumescent coating, textile coating, thermal setting resin (epoxy, UP) and applications having strict water resistant requirements.
• EPFR APP 216 – Treated with melamine. Highly recommended for intumescent coatings.
